Tequila Julep

Considered the American Mojito, the Julep is a classic bourbon based cocktail. This reimagined version includes our 1921 Tequila Blanco which gives a more balanced herbal approach without loosing its intensity. Along with our 1921 Tequila Blanco, epazote gives the drink a mexican twist and pouring thyme brine over ice adds complexity to this favorite.
Ingredients

• 2 oz. 1921 Tequila Blanco
• 0.6 oz. Lime juice
• 1 oz. Basil syrup
• 2 oz. Rosemary soda
• 1 Spray thyme brine
• 1 Epazote twig
STEPS

1. Add tequila, juice and syrup to mixing class.
2. Mix with spoon
3. Add crushed ice to cooper cup
4. Pour the mix into the cup
5. Top with Rosemary soda
6. Garnish with epazote
7. Aromatize with thyme brine

• 1 oz. Grapefruit juice
• 1 Lime juice dash
• 3 oz. Peach jam
• 1 Soda water
• 1.25 oz. Orange cream
• 1 Dehydrated grapefruit wedge
STEPS

1. Add tequila, grapefruit juice, jam and lime dash to shaker.
2. Shake
3. Fill glass with ice
4. Pour mix into glass
5. Top with soda
6. Add orange cream on top
7. Garnish with dehydrated grapefruit wedge

Ingredients

• 1.5 oz. 1921 Tequila Añejo
• 1 oz. Herb liquor
• 1 Cherry
• 1 Orange Wedge
STEPS

1. Chill glass with ice
2. Add tequila and herbal liquor to mixing glass
3. Dispose ice from glass and add new ice
4. Pour mix into the glass
5. Add cherry
6. Aromatize and garnish with orange wedge

• 1 oz. Hazelnut liquor
• 1 oz. Coconut cream
• 0.3 oz. Shredded coconut

2. Shake
3. Pour into the coupe using the strainer
